Serving Chicago-style pizza since 1947, this original corner tavern has grown into a two-floor family restaurant and event space with seating for up to 550 people.
We follow strict guidelines in preparing our gluten-free products, which includes baking the pizza in the manufacturer’s pan, but unfortunately, cross-contamination can still occur. We advise anyone with Celiac Disease or wheat/gluten allergies to please use caution when consuming these products. When compared to other restaurants, Home Run Inn Pizza is moderate.

Our restaurant’s menu even offers gluten free pizza and wings in addition to your classic favorites, with the option to order pizza online take out. Above all, Home Run Inn is a proud, family-owned business—one with deep roots in the city of Chicago. In 1923, the original Home Run Inn location opened as a small tavern on Chicago’s South Side. In 1947, after that baseball made history, Mary and her son-in-law, Nick Perrino, crafted the iconic Chicago pizza recipe known today.
